Join Awful Purdies for a concert followed by a discussion in which concert goers can share their own stories with the band about farming, food production and community. Rain or shine, we'll play a free concert on Sunday, September 14th from 1pm-3pm at Seed Savers Exchange's Heritage Farm. This will be an open-air concert, set in the beautiful and diverse heirloom gardens of Heritage Farm - visitors should bring blankets or lawn chairs. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the barn.
This concert is sponsored by Seed Savers and Maximum Ames Records in conjunction with a grant from the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Seed Saver Exchange's Lillian Goldman Visitors Center will be open from 10am-5pm.
